Allergy Care Solutions offers an advanced, effective, and proven model to test and treat allergies within a physician?s practice. We bring allergy care at an expert level to the primary care setting by partnering with providers to educate patients on the benefits of allergy testing and immunotherapy treatment. We offer an extensive allergy training program for candidates without allergy experience. Our typical hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:00. This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-tasked, motivated self-starter looking to increase their clinical knowledge. Job Responsibilities Be comfortable learning all aspects of allergy care, including allergy testing, mixing allergy serum and administering shots. Responsible for educating patients on allergy treatments and benefits. Demonstrates clinical competence and sound knowledge base in provision of quality patient care. Develops and maintains effective, professional relationships with providers, medical office staff and our Allergy Care Solutions team. Detail oriented, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment providing allergy testing and treatments. Perform weekly and monthly maintenance of patient?s serums and records, pull expired paperwork, insurances, etc., and then call patients with expired serums for follow up. Maintains immunotherapy room with necessary supplies and materials. Ensures cleanliness. Consult with physician regarding plan of care for allergy patient?s treatment as needed. Requirements & Preferences MAs with applicable allergy practice experience a plus but not required CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain) Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Computer literacy on MS Office products Strong knowledge of medical terminology Demonstrated ability to problem solve Must perform highly complex and varied tasks requiring independent knowledge, its application to a variety of situations, and exercise independent judgment. Great opportunity for candidates currently in school and in need of a flexible schedule. This can be a full-time or part-time opportunity. We offer a COMPETITIVE SALARY along with a Uniform Allowance and Paid Time Off. Spanish speaking is a plus. We are looking for the right candidate to join our growing team! Pay Rate: $15/hr to $19/hr depending on experience Uniform Allowance $100PTO: 8 hours to start and additional 32 hours after 90 days
