Hi, my name is Sprinkles, and I am a pretty 6-month-old Labrador Retriever mix pup currently weighing 28 lbs. I was born in a litter of 6 then surrendered to 4 Little Paws Rescue when our owner was no longer caring for us. We were on the verge of starvation, rail-thin, missing patches of fur, and covered with fleas when we were brought to a foster home, but a few months later with proper nutrition, proper care, and oodles of love we were feeling great and looking pretty! I’m a very sweet girl with an inquisitive nature, a bit independent, and I love to explore. I’m friendly with everyone, dogs, and humans, and I make an excellent playmate. I’m happy and playful, enjoy running zoomies and playing with doggy toys. I’m housebroken and walk well on a leash. I'm loving and affectionate, trusting and eager to please. Now that I’m spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find a forever home, I’ll be moving to Connecticut to meet whoever adopts me! * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.Adoption processPlease DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.Shelter locationall of our dogs come to Westport CT from TX and get picked up by adopters from here.
