Our hearts literally break for Maple! She was tossed out of her home with newborn kittens. She had 6 babies that she was trying to keep alive from all the neighborhood hazards at the same time as being traumatized herself with losing her home and family. Once the babies started to explore mom moved them up into a hallowed out tree (how she got her name). Luckily some nice ladies saw Maple climbing up and down the tree and intervened. Maple decided once she came in she was mentally done being a mom and we found a lovely foster home for the "tree kittens." Maple would love a nice quiet home where she can take time to relax and be a cat again. Do you have the time and patience to show this sweetheart some love and make her feel safe again?
