Rachel is a sweetheart with the most beautiful eyes! She'll hold your gaze and gently reach her paw to your face. She loves being pet, resting on your chest or your arm and tolerates being held/cradled. She is the definition of a lovebug. She's extroverted, flirty, playful, demands attention and affection, loves being kissed and to be held in a hug! Rachel should be adopted with her brother Chandler. She and Chandler have been moved a few times due to no fault of their own and are ready for their permanent home. These siblings are extremely bonded and need to be adopted together. They were born around 03/30/2023. For more pictures and videos, please see their Flickr album.Adoption processOnce you've filled out an application, we will contact your references and put you in touch with the foster/caregiver of the cat. Once your application is approved, we schedule you to attend an online group seminar on cat care. Then you would sign the adoption papers, pay the adoption fee, and make arrangements for the cat to be moved to your home. We always do a home visit which is both reassuring to the cat when it is being introduced and to the foster who has taken care of the cat. Presently we are doing home visits with FaceTime or Zoom to confirm you have secure windows, no toxic plants and a generally safe environment for a cat. The adoption fee is $150 for one cat under 7 years old, $75 for one cat 7 years and older. All cats have been tested for the Feline Leukemia and FIV virus, vaccinated (FVRCP and Rabies vaccines), microchipped, dewormed and spayed/neutered.
