This is Riju, the gorgeous torbie lady. Riju is a young, small kitty, who was rescued off the streets. She can be a little timid and skittish in a new place, but she quickly warms up, becomes more curious of her surroundings, and will make herself at home. She is very food motivated and will wake you up to make sure she gets her breakfast! Riju is obsessed with head scratches and being brushed. She likes people, even new people, and will come up to you, your foot, or your knee to use you as a rubbing post. Just be aware she doesn’t love her belly being touched or being pet longer than she wants. If you stay longer, she occasionally will swat or if you really push her buttons she might hiss. This may just be because she’s getting used to living in a home and being loved, as she does this less and less every day. She plays with toys when they’re offered, but is otherwise happy to lounge.
