The community member fostered Pebbles for 3 years because she was such a great cat, but ultimately approached us for help when she was no longer able to provide the care & support that Pebbles needed. Luckily, foster home@goodhome_adoptabklynkitty was available and eager to take Pebbles in, and you can see her there enjoying life as she awaits her furever home!In foster care, Pebbles is "a wonderful cat!" As soon as you lay on the bed at night, she'll plop down near your chest and purr the night away. She allows you to pet/rub and snuggle her and loves every minute of it. She enjoys when you brush her, and she has the softest, sweetest little “kitten” meow you’ve ever heard. She's only been in foster care with us for a few weeks, but during the day, Pebbles is still very shy. She'll hang out on your bed or under the couch. She doesn't have a ton of confidence and thus doesn’t seem to feel comfortable exploring during daylight hours. The nighttime is a different story. There’s a sense of complete trust at night. It’s possible she just needs more time to acclimate to her surroundings.Her foster describes Pebbles as super mellow and a complete and total love bug. Some serious biscuit making to boot!! She would do very well with someone who doesn’t want an over the top active cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, SNAP tested and microchipped. Our adoption process includes an application, a friendly conversation, a quick home check, a contract and an adoption fee of $250 per cat (which helps us cover veterinary care) and $150 for seniors or cats with manageable illnesses. The fee is $25 for FeLV+ or cats that require especially high levels of ongoing care.
